MEMBERSHIP
The CERI membership is available at different levels based on the applicants’ academic qualifications and practical research experience in Science, Arts, Language, Commerce & Management, Medical, Engineering and other fields. The membership categories are:
1) Distinguished Fellow (DF):
Eligibility Criteria:
A Distinguished Fellow shall be:
- a person who has achieved eminence through the quality of his work in Science, Arts, Language, Commerce & Management, Medical, Engineering and other fields.
- a distinguished person in the abovementioned fields or industry
- a distinguished person whom the Council desires to honor.
DFs are elected by the Executive Senate of CERI.
2) Fellow (F):
Eligibility Criteria:
A candidate for election as a Fellow should possess the following qualifications:
- Attained the age of at least thirty-five on the date of his application for election.
- Passed a post-graduate examination or above of a recognized university, and/or the Institution or equivalent in any of the disciplines of interest to the Council.
- Should be engaged in the discipline in a position of high responsibility, or have retired from the profession after having held, before his/her application for election, a position of high responsibility.
- At least ten years’ experience in the discipline during which the candidate should have held a position of higher responsibility in an organization for a period of five years or made outstanding contribution in the discipline.
3) Life Member (M):
Eligibility Criteria:
To be a Life Member of the Council, the candidate should possess following qualifications:
- Hold a Graduate Degree or above from a recognized university, and/or institution or equivalent in any of the disciplines of interest to CERI. Students of UG also may be considered based on the merit.
- Should possess subsequent professional or research experience.
- Shall have made a significant contribution in research.
